A floor based, slow practice. In yin yoga postures are held for prolonged periods to gently stretch and release tightness in the muscles and fascia. Postures can be held for 1-5 minutes. The session will end by sitting together to drink matcha tea. This is a powerful green tea said to be drank by monks to aid in meditation. Although caffeinated, the tea also contains properties that relax and focus the mind.
