The Art of Personal Practice: Litha - Lammas

A nurturing 6-week journey inspired by nature’s seasons and cycles. The Art of Personal Practice is for those yearning to root deeper into their creativity and unique energy, to make practice not just part of their day, but a way of life.

Litha, the ancient name for the Summer Solstice, marks the sun’s highest arc across the sky. In the Celtic Wheel of the Year, it is a threshold moment. Many traditions honour this peak of the solar cycle before the energies slow down and begin to turn inward once more.

From this point onward, the light slowly wanes. Between Litha and Lammas (the first harvest festival in early August) we are invited into a phase of tending, ripening, and reflecting. It is a season of soft momentum, action guided by intuition.

Over these 6 weeks, you’ll receive weekly resources to ground, regulate your nervous system, and explore personal practice as a way of being.

Let this be a time to align with the season and with yourself. A time to remember that your practice is not separate from life, but a thread in the fabric of who you are continuously becoming.

Who is the course for?

  • Those longing to deepen their relationship with movement, stillness, and themselves. Not through rigid routines or quick fixes, but through a practice that feels nourishing, intuitive, and alive.

  • You want to build a home practice in movement and meditation that aligns with your unique energy to support physical, emotional, and creative wellbeing.

  • You're seeking clarity, rhythm, and focus - not by doing more, but by doing with more intention.

What is a personal practice?

A personal practice is a method of connecting with yourself, a practice of healing and growing from your own collected resources. There are great benefits from searching externally for answers: finding teachers, travelling to learn and experience. But what good is this knowledge if we don’t know how to implement it?

I spent many years searching for what would ‘fix’ me. I have, and continue to find incredible teachers, trainings, books and courses - which have all been significant and necessary in my journey. But it was once I began to take time on my own, to pause, to allow what I had learned to come together within me and evolve into its own unique recipe. That is when huge shifts and breakthroughs finally began to happen.

This course was created to share these methods, to provide a container, and inspire you to bring forward all the knowledge within you that you have been storing away for later. In turn, showing up in the world able to fully embody the skills and expertise you are here to share.

The Art of Personal Practice: Litha-Lammas

A Note from Me…

Over the past 6 years, I’ve been immersed in studying, teaching, and evolving what ‘personal practice’ means to me.

For many years, it looked like discipline:
Studio classes 5x a week. Sunrise alarms. A non-negotiable morning routine.

And then… life began weaving itself into the practice.

Now, my days begin more gently.
I rise with the light (no alarms).
I water my plants and watch the way they lean into the sun.
I pause for the bees on the wild flowers, the birdsong, the scent of fresh herbs.
I buy second-hand, and support local makers and producers when possible.
I move slowly. I listen. I observe.

For a while, I thought maybe I’d ‘lost discipline.’ But on reflection, what I think I may have found is devotion. A lifestyle that honours rhythm, relationship, and integrity.

Testimonials from previous in-person courses:

“Amy has been pivotal in helping me to adapt my life to include daily practice, which has had a butterfly effect of remarkable benefits in my life: I have learnt to set specific refined intentions based on overcoming challenges I wish to face, I have built tools for when I’m not coping, I have explored where I am, where I want to be and what steps I need to take to get there.

In general, I am feeling much more confident and happier in life, even in the midst of crisis and a period of huge change. Amy has empowered me to feel a sense of control in my life – knowing I can and will get to where I need to be. For this I am eternally grateful.”

“This whole course with Amy has really helped with my depression and anxiety. Even just being in a safe space with Amy, and physically doing something to ease my body and mind, has been so special to me. Amy is the most caring and wonderful teacher, calm, happy to go at your pace and completely tailors everything to suit you. Her studio is peaceful and relaxing and I wish I had the space to recreate it at home. Since enrolling on the course, I have fallen in love with yoga and finally started to see results - I can actually touch my toes! Misconceptions I had before, like ‘you have to be flexible’ were completely blown away and I realised that there is a routine out there for everyone. Wellbeing has so many different important parts and Amy covers them all so beautifully in this course. I could not recommend it enough. It’s all very well saying ‘I meditate, I do yoga’ but Amy really shows you how to do it properly and really looks after you. This course has been so important to me and I will forever be so grateful for everything I have learnt. I will use what I have learnt for the rest of my life.”

“It was an amazing experience doing the yoga, meditation and prosperity course with Amy, she is a caring and loving person with a beautiful light. I very much enjoy my time with her and every single session we had together, the material she gives you is very helpful to continue the practice at home and to each week grow and understand on different things that might be holding you back from your greater self, I have experienced a big shift in my general way of approaching daily events and how to cope better with situations that are out of my comfort zone, she helped me create a daily routine that helps me so much to flow with life and makes me feel happy and self-worthy, I have been aware of the things I needed to work on and the old patterns that weren’t helping me in a positive way but I needed that extra help to be able to address them and work in positive ways to break through these things and that’s exactly what Amy and the prosperity course helped me achieved and I’m so ever grateful for this amazing and wonderful experience! Thank you very much Amy!”
